What RISEWELL is

RISEWELL is a self-help app that supports recovery from addiction. It is not a medical, clinical or crisis service, and Rise (the in-app companion) is an AI, not a person or a professional. Always follow advice from your GP or treatment team. In an emergency call 999. For support any time, call Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and live in the UK.

Free trial

New members get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged when it ends. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only: you can still read and export what you've written.

Membership and payment

• Membership costs £3.99 a month, taken by card through Stripe on the same date each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings › Membership. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• You have the right to cancel within 14 days of your first payment. If you do, we'll refund that payment in full.
• We'll remind you about your membership at least every six months. If the price ever changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before.

Your account

Keep your password private. Please be kind to other members in messages; we may remove content or close accounts that put others at risk or break the law.

Our responsibility

We work to keep RISEWELL available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
